My photography goals for this year
After much thought, I have decided to make my photography goals for this year public. My hope is these goals will help me become a better photographer.
Vision
- Start keeping a photography notebook
- Take a new type of photography at least once a month
- Take at least five landscape groups
- Participate in at least six photo outings
Online
- Continue with this blog, posting at least five times a week
- Over half of all photos on blog are taken in the last week
- Join at least two online photography communities and contribute regularly
Knowledge
- Sign up for video courses on Photoshop and go through several courses
- Start using printer profiles when printing
- Print at least one extra large image good enough to display in the home
- Lead at least one class on macro photography at my work
Equipment
- Purchase the Canon 180L and take more pictures of bees and dragonflies
- Purchase a neutral density filter and take more pictures of moving water
Microstock
- Double my Shutterstock portfolio to at least 700 images
- Double my sales by the end of the year
